QLD flocks to Australia Zoo for revolutionary career course
Job hunters, students and school-leavers across QLD are using one of the world’s great tourism attractions to dramatically boost the State’s Tourism employment and knowledge platform.
Record and packed houses have flocked to world-renowned Australia Zoo to qualify themselves for a career in Tourism through Australia’s top career and course trainer, Wise Education, while working in surrounds they proudly say are the love of their life.
Australia Zoo, on Steve Irwin Way at Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast and the spiritual home of the late legendary crocodile hunter, has reported an “overwhelming popularity and success” for the first five Certificate III 12-day qualification courses in Tourism, with another seven courses scheduled to run from July this year to February 2016.
Education observers & commentators have labelled the venture as a breakthrough in hands-on educational variety where participants learn and qualify while working in the surrounds of one of the world’s great natural tourist attractions.
“It’s been an amazing response,” Wise Chief Executive Kelly North said in a recent key-note public speech. “It brings a new meaning to encompassing a desire to learn from the right trainer while absorbing a wonderful up-lifting venue and potential employment opportunities that await in such an industry.”
Wise Education and Australia Zoo are urging all Queenslanders to plan and book in advance to avoid missing out!
The popular course, including a private tour of the zoo which counts as a practical session in training, is part of a joint push for greater educational opportunities across QLD from Wise Education and the QLD Government.
“This is one of the most spectacular learning opportunities to come to QLD, and people shouldn’t miss out,” Ms North said. “To think you can kick-start a career in Tourism while enjoying the professional and beautiful surrounds of the country’s top tourism park is something quite inspiring.”
Australia Zoo — the iconic passion of the Irwins — is considered one of the finest wildlife conservation facilities in the world & its partnership with Wise is thought to be the first of its kind in Australia & a revolutionary educational move from the Sunshine State.
