    Bachelor of Social Sciences - Students who successfully complete CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at Wise Education Group will be guaranteed entry to the Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Wollongong commencing in 2015 to 2017. To receive guaranteed entry, applications need to be submitted directly to the University using either a web application or by downloading the application form and sending to the University – please visit www.uow.edu.au or contact us for more information.

    As part of the assessment to achieve this qualification, you will need to arrange work placement for a total of at least 120 hours in a regulated education or childcare service centre to meet requirements of the following:

    • CHCECE003 Provide care for children
    • CHCECE005 Provide care for babies and toddlers
    • CHCECE007 Develop positive and respectful relationships with children
    • CHCECE019 Facilitate compliance in an education and care services

     

    You will also need to arrange work placement for a total of at least 240 hours in a regulated education or childcare service centre to meet requirements of the following:

    • CHCECE017 Foster the holistic development and wellbeing of the child in early childhood
    • CHCECE024 Design and implement the curriculum to foster children's learning and development

     

    Students must obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Check.
